“In Touch” is a film about communication in isolation.
When a tiny Polish village is abandoned by its entire youth who relocated to Iceland, the older generation have to come to grips with VOIP calls like Skype.
The Internet is the only affordable means of how the residents of Stare Juchy speak with their children and grandchildren. This film follows a community bonded by technology, and how they can continue their deepest relationships from afar. But when they finally meet and touch, the value of human contact is revealed…and cherished.
